began her piano study when she was eight years old. In 1999 she gradueted brilliantly in piano at the Conservatory of Music in Florence. From an early age, Federica was fascinated by history and period instruments, and this early interest became her chosen career after she met Annaberta Conti (Conservatory of Florence), who introduced her to the riches of the world of harpsichord and baroque music, Gordon Murray (Universitaet fur Musik Vienna), Bob Van Asperen (Conservatorium van Amsterdam) and Richard Egarr (Conservatorium van Amsterdam) with whom she studied harpsichord and fortepiano, obtaining her Master in harpsichord Cum Laude. Awarded in many of the most prestigious international competitions, among the others, “International Harpsichord competition G. Gambi”, “Bologna European Harpsichord Competition”, “Haendel Early Music International Competition Goettingen” and selected from the most important Young Baroque Orchestras in Europe, Federica worked as harpsichordist for the Ambronay European Baroque Academy under the direction of Jean Tubery and as harpischordist and organist of EUBO (European Baroque Orchestra) 2009, she toured all over Europe under the direction of L.U.Mortensen, P.Mullejan, E.Higginbottom and E. Onofri. She has the privilege to collaborate with great soloists and ensembles such as European Baroque Orchestra, il Pomo d'Oro, Le Musiche Nove, L'Arte dell'Arco, New Century Baroque, Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, Spira Mirabilis, Simone Kermes, Vivica Genaux, Riccardo Minasi, Enrico Onofri, Rodney Prada, Federico Guglielmo, Gemma Bertagnolli, Richard Egarr, Gloria Banditelli with whom she performed as soloist and continuo player in concert venues such as Musikverein Vienna, Konzerthaus Berlin, Melk Barocktage, Haydn Festival Eisenstadt, MAFestival Bruge, Alte Oper Frankfurt ecc. She has recorded for Brilliant Classic and Sony.

Federica has a master degree in Philosophy.
